Happy Sunday morning to you. Here in the Pacific Northwest it is a brisk sunny morning. The low angle of the fall sun shinning through the gold, orange, and red leaves of the trees. It is my day off, so I got to sleep in late (only by pushing the cats out of the room and closing the door), sit and have a nice bailey's coffee while chatting with my twin sister on the phone. PURE LUXURY! Then off to check email. I'm such a slow go in the morning that doing computer stuff first thing works for me. The brain is going a million miles and hour, but the body just doesn't want to move. Yeah sunshine, or should I say no rain.....for the plans for the day are to spray paint (hopefully the chrome paint looks good) my GoodWill finds to use for display for my first artfair (next fri.). Let me know if you are in the area(Bothell, Wa.) and want to come, I'll send you a flyer. Today all the display stuff needs to be DONE and I have 4 more abstract paintings to finish....AND 7-10 more necklaces to finish. YIKES- alot of last minute projects. I better get crackin'

(photo)I finally got my fall assemblage canvas finished. It's alittle later than I had hoped for, but at least it is still fall. I posted a challenge in my art marketing group this a.m.- 3-5 pieces of art a week(or more) to try and keep my etsy (www.ellisonjames.etsy.com) store full. We are looking at a members post that speculates that is what makes the difference in lots of visits and lots of sales. If nothing else it should be lots of fun.

(photo)Here are some of the holiday (my fav-halloween) mini collages I finished up this past weekend. How come it took me over a week to finish a project that should have taken a day? Does anyone else have that problem?
